And still we strive for more

This week I have been reminded of just how lucky I really am.

After waiting 20 months to go to our first Love Supreme festival, one silly so and so (me 🤦‍♂️) gets a very very positive COVID test and instead has to sit it out.

A long weekend of sleeping odd hours, hot and cold sweats and a very achey body, bits of Glastonbury coming through on the iPlayer make me wonder if I was actually at a my own mini fest, but apparently not.

So many well wishes it's made me feel a bit of a fraud, as I don't feel that bad, but people have mucked in, changed their plans, and made me stay off work, so I don't come back too soon and mess myself up good and proper by overdoing it.

BUT

I've written a quiz for this week...so we're going to do it (8-9.30pm Wednesday) NEXT week

And hopefully the people booked for food can make next week too.

The Tasters evening will go ahead this Friday, when France take on New Zealand in round two of our wine wars series. We do have a couple if spaces left, but let us know pdq if you would hope to participate.

Saturday is the 20th running of the DOGs golf Open @ Hollingbury again a couple of places remain if you need a walking, shooting,chipping, putting exasperating experience.

Next week we have knit and natter - Tuesday,

the quiz and street food suppers on Wednesday

and a little lockdown artist show on the Thursday evening - cheese and wine on offer and paintings for sale with proceeds going to St Peter and St James 6-8.30pm
